Film Review: "I Am Number Four"

Synopsis: Extraordinary teen John Smith (Alex Pettyfer) is a fugitive on the run from ruthless enemies sent to destroy him. Changing his identity, moving from town to town with his guardian Henri (Timothy Olyphant), John is always the new kid with no ties to his past. In the small Ohio town he now calls home, John encounters unexpected, life-changing events-his first love (Dianna Agron), powerful new abilities and a connection to the others who share his incredible destiny.

Review: This movie was amazing!! one of the most literal to film interpretations to date, they didnt put everything from the novel into the movie of course, i believe/hope that when they make the second film they'll add in the rest of John's powers. The film itself starts at a slow pace but gradually picks up with action and drama. One of the things i liked about the film were the "WTF just happened" moments thanks to the awesome writing of three of my favorite TV/Film writers: Alfred Gough, Miles Millar(The creators of Smallville), and Marti Noxon. I highly recomend this move to anyone who is a fan of science fiction and action adventure.
